Is the Resurrection Real?

If you’re a Christian, madaling sabihin na yes.

Hmm…

So to help us, heto.

We believe yes. Not just because sinabi ng mga trusted people namin, pero historically rin kasi, yes.

To make things easier, hinango namin itong article na ito kay Josh McDowell so may sound reasoning and back-up ito.

1. May witness.

During the time na sinulat ang Gospels, marami pang buhay na tao na mismong nakakita kay Jesus (1 Cor. 15:26). He rose from the dead, conversed with people. He is alive.

Even Luke testified to this. He was not one of the twelve apostles, pero he looked into this resurrection story and studied it well.

Nag-sleeping pills ba sila? Very “exceptional” ang training ng mga Roman soldiers so hindi pwedeng tutulug-tulog sila sa pansitan. So paano?

It’s because “I am not able to explain away an event in history — the resurrection of Christ.”

So if you think na joke-joke lang ang Christianity, kaibigan, nagkakamali ka. Ang ating faith na pwedeng iput into question ng mga hindi naniniwala dito ay maaaring tumindig head high against accusations of errors and illogicalizations (imbentong word).

So next time na may matanong sayo, “Totoo ba yan? Baka kwentong barbero yan,” pwede mo silang masagot nang clear, crisp, resounding, echoing-into-eternity na “no.”

12 But if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. 14 And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith. 15 More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that he raised Christ from the dead. But he did not raise him if in fact the dead are not raised. 16 For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either. 17 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. 18 Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost. 19 If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.
